"I'm most proud of the love we share" - Andrew McCutchen's wife Maria's Thanksgiving message celebrates 10 years with Pirates legend
Andrew McCutchen and his wife Maria celebrated Thanksgiving Day together with their four children in their home. The couple, who have been married since 2014, are parents to four children: Steel, Armani, Avé and newborn Italia.
On Thursday, on the occasion of Thanksgiving Day, Maria posted a series of photos where the family can be seen enjoying themselves at home. McCutchen was seen holding Italia and giving a candid pose while Maria is seen trying to control her other three children in a candid snap.
Maria also wrote a heartwarming caption along with it, celebrating 10 years with the former Pittsburgh Pirates star.
"This thanksgiving I’m especially thankful for my husband," she wrote in the caption. "We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary last Friday and it was just the best day. I’m so proud of what we’ve built together in the last 10 years.. but I’m most proud of the love we share and the fun we have. The best years of my life have been with you and because of you, Andrew. I love you."

Andrew McCutchen and Maria became parents for the fourth time when they welcomed daughter Italia Maria McCutchen on Mar. 9. The couple provided the update on Instagram, also noting that she weighed 8lbs and 2oz at the time of birth.
"Our hearts have been bursting this past week with her. Thank you God," they wrote in the post.
McCutchen proposed to his longtime love Maria Hanslovan on December 11, 2013, during The Ellen DeGeneres Show. A year later, the couple exchanged vows.
On November 27, 2017, McCutchen and his wife welcomed their first child, a son named Steel. McCutchen and his wife became parents again, welcoming their second son, Armani. On December 24, 2019, they welcomed their first daughter, Avé on October 25, 2021.
Andrew McCutchen is currently a free agent after reuniting with the Pirates for the 2023 season on a $5 million contract. He re-signed for the 2024 season and batted .232 with 20 home runs and 50 RBIs.
