While Alex Bregman holds baseball close to his heart, it is not the only sport he is obsessed with. The two-time All-Star has been fascinated with horse racing since his youth.
His love for horse racing began when his grandfather, Bo Bregman, would take him to the track, often missing school. Now, the slugger owns multiple horses and, alongside his wife, Reagan, started Bregman Family Racing.
The racing group began in 2022 and is still going strong today. This past season was one of the best for the Bregman family, detailing their experiences on Instagram.

As you can see, Bregman Family Racing is a family affair. The love for horse racing has spread to Reagan and their child, Knox. The 2024 season was nothing but a joy for this group.
Alex Bregman's future in Houston remains uncertain
Alex Bregman enters the offseason as a free agent. He and the Houston Astros could not agree to an extension during the season, making him one of the top free agents in the class.
Houston would love to re-sign their guy, but it will not come cheap. Bregman is represented by Scott Boras, an agent known for getting the most value for his clients.
General manager Dana Brown has not yet stated whether the team has offered Bregman a new contract but has stated the two sides are talking. He is not expected to make a decision anytime soon, putting Houston in a tough spot.
