In Photos: Alex Rodriguez steps out with 'beautiful' girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro in matching sweaters for a wine date in NYC
Former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez and his girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro, wore matching sweaters for a wine date in New York City. The three-time MVP was in NYC for the 2024 Bloomberg Power Players Conference. He also hosted an episode of his podcast "The Deal" live on stage.
After his appearance on stage on Friday, Rodriguez went around the city with Cordeiro. On Sunday, the couple went out on a wine date with matching sweaters. Rodriguez showcased his travels on Instagram.
"With the beautiful," he captioned one of the posts.
The couple started their Sunday with ice cream at the Hamptons and then headed to the city for some wine. Cordeiro also posed in front of a Louis Vuitton store.
Rodriguez and Cordeiro, a Canadian fitness instructor, were first spotted together in October 2022. Both have two children from their previous partners.
This summer, they took both families on a trip to Europe, which ended with a visit to Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games.
Alex Rodriguez's debut at the Yankees Old-Timers' Day leads to speculation on induction into Monument Park
New York Yankees icon Alex Rodriguez was seen wearing the famed pinstripes for the first time since his retirement in 2016. The former infielder made his debut at this year's Old-Timers' Day, where the franchise celebrated its World Series-winning team of 2009, of which Rodriguez was a pivotal part.
Naturally, his return to Yankee Stadium on invitation by the club led many to speculate whether he would soon be added to the historic Monument Park.
Former teammate Jorge Posada was asked about it:
"I don’t know. I can’t answer that,” Posada said per MLB.com. “I feel like his numbers speak for itself, so we’ll see. I don’t know what’s going to happen. That’s up to management.”
Despite his historic career, most of which he spent playing for the Yankees, Alex Rodriguez has had a tough relationship with the club ever since he was suspended for the use of PEDs.
Nonetheless, while his former teammates are unwilling to get in on the debate, many fans still believe that he belongs alongside all the great players who have worn the pinstripes over the years.
