Brandon Crawford announced his retirement on Wednesday following 14 seasons in the MLB, mostly with the San Francisco Giants and a brief stint with the St. Louis Cardinals.
Following the two-time World Series winner's emotional announcement, messages poured in from fellow MLB stars and family members. Brandon's wife Jalynne was supportive of the All-Star shortstop's decision and penned a heartfelt note after his announcement.
As Brandon heads into a new phase of his life, Jalynne shared pictures from their holiday season. She shared Thanksgiving pictures with the Giants great and their five children - two sons and three daughters.
"Thankful, grateful, & blessed! Happy Thanksgiving! Love and light to everyone's family THANK YOU for all of the love you've given our family," Jalynne captioned the post.
Jalynne, a former gymnast, reportedly met Brandon Crawford during their time at UCLA. Brandon played college baseball for UCLA before being drafted by his childhood team, the Giants in 2008.
Brandon and Jalynne tied the knot in 2011 and celebrated their 13th marriage anniversary earlier this week. Jalynne shared beach pictures to celebrate the occasion, while also sharing throwback pictures from their special day in 2011.

Brandon Crawford, a Mountain View, California native, grew up watching the San Francisco Giants. It was a dream come true moment for him when he made his MLB debut for the Giants in 2011.
Crawford's wife Jalynne was by his side throughout his illustrious career with the Giants and she penned a heartfelt note following his retirement on Wednesday.

Brandon Crawford's sister Amy, married to New York Yankees flamethrower Gerrit Cole, also reacted to his brother's retirement. She shared an emotional clip of Brandon's MLB journey and their memories from their childhood.
