Minnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa and wife Daniella attended the Maestro Cares 11th Gala on Wednesday. Correa's wife was dressed to the nines in a stunning gown.
Dr Ricky Flores, the Clinical Director of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology posted images from the event on his Instagram. Flores is also the president of the Correa Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides financial support for children battling cancer.
Daniella stole the spotlight at the function, wearing a stunning black one-shoulder gown. The post began with a heartwarming snap of Flores alongside Carlos Correa and his wife, Daniella. In the second image, the trio was joined by Mexican Emmy Award-winning actress Karina Banda and Puerto Rican actor Carlos Ponce.
The third photo featured the Twins star and his wife posing with legendary musician Marc Anthony and his wife, Nadia Ferreira, a 25-year-old Paraguayan model.
In the fourth snap, the couple sat at a roundtable surrounded by acquaintances. The following images transitioned to the stage, where the couple received a special memento and delivered a heartfelt speech. The final post included a lively video of Marc Anthony’s performance, with Correa and Daniella singing along.
The Correas were recognized at the Maestro Cares Foundation Gala for their philanthropic work through their foundation. Alongside them, Oscar Munoz was awarded the Corporate Social Responsibility Award, while Rosie Perez was celebrated with the Courage to Care Award.
Renowned singer Marc Anthony and entrepreneur Henry Cardenas co-founded The Maestro Cares Foundation. Their mission is to enhance the lives of disadvantaged children and communities across Latin America and the United States.

After winning the All-Star Award from Marc Anthony's foundation, Carlos Correa recalled when his dad advised him to be philanthropic during his speech.
The former World Series winner already dreamt of playing in the big leagues. As such, his dad urged him to remember where he came from and help people as much as he could.
Correa's wife Daniella shared the speech via her Instagram stories. Impressed by her husband's passionate speech, the 2016 Miss Texas USA captioned the story:

As for Carlos Correa's professional career, his Twins couldn't make it to the postseason but came agonizingly close. The shortstop was impressive but injuries forced him to miss several games.
