In Photos: Carlos Rodon's wife Ashley captures cute moment of daughter Willow holding hands with Alex Verdugo's son

Carlos Rodon's wife Ashley shared a heartfelt moment between her firstborn Willow and Alex Verdugo's son near a NYC subway rail. Verdugo's partner, Yamille Alcala, captured the adorable picture on her phone and shared it in an Instagram story. In the image, the two kids can be seen holding hands while walking towards a subway rail to board it.

Rodon's daughter carried a pink backpack, while Alex Verdugo's son had a black school bag and a yellow hat. Yamille Alcala captioned her Instagram story:

"Cuties."

Alex Verdugo has three kids with his girlfriend Yamille Alcala. Ashley and Carlos Rodon also have three kids of their own: Willow, who was born in 2019, Bo, who was born in 2021, and Silo, who was born last year in April.

Rodon dated his wife for a while before tying the knot at a picturesque location in Costa Rica in January 2018.

Both the Verdugos and the Rodons reside in New York, where Carlos Rodon and Alex Verdugo have been playing ball with the Yankees since 2023 and 2024, respectively.

Verdugo has filled various batting spots in the Yankees lineup effectively and had a decent first season in the Bronx. Rodon is having a better year this time around, as he has registered 14 wins for the campaign to go along with eight losses. He has an ERA of 4.16, 153 strikeouts and 1.23 WHIP.

Rodon registered a win in his last start in the series opener against the Rockies on Friday, where he pitched six solid, scoreless innings. He will make his next start on the road in the series finale against the Nationals on Wednesday.
