In Photos: Ex-Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer's agent Rachel Luba explores "Land of the Churches" in Puebla, Mexico
Both Trevor Bauer and his agent, Rachel Luba, are enjoying their time south of the border in Mexico. On Thursday, Luba's social media feed was filled with photos from her trip to Puebla City, Mexico, which she referred to as the "Land of the Churches."
She was joined by Bauer's teammate Ivan Terrazas and his significant other, Pamela Orozco, who seems to have served as a guide for the California native. In the series of photos shared by Luba, the trio visited many places, including the city's iconic landmarks and churches.
Among the places the group visited was Piramide de Cholula in San Andres Cholula, which she tagged in one of her stories.
Apart from this, Luba's social media feed is filled with the highlights of Trevor Bauer, who has now extended his stay with the Diablos Rojos de Mexico of the Mexican Baseball League.
Rachel Luba appreciates Trevor Bauer being mentioned in an MLB report
MLB writer Mark Feinsand mentioned Trevor Bauer's name in his list of available pitchers to be signed up before the trade deadline. This comes as big news for Bauer camp, and Rachel Luba came forward with an appreciation message.
"Nice to see @BauerOutage included in this list from http://MLB.com!" she posted on X.
While writing about Bauer in his report, Feinsand quoted a league spokesperson as saying:
“Trevor Bauer served the entirety of his discipline and is an unrestricted free agent available to sign a contract with any team.”
This comes at a time when the former Cy Young pitcher is struggling to land a contract with the MLB. Despite his leading pitching charts in the Mexican League, Bauer is ready to play for the league minimum contract to resume his career in the majors.
He last pitched for the Dodgers in July 2021, before being placed on administrative leave and subsequently suspended.
Teams looking to bolster their rotation can recruit Bauer since all the allegations and lawsuits filed against him are now settled. His skill is there to see but as Bauer previously alleged, there's more to just his skill, which is preventing him from getting back in the MLB.
