Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman is enjoying the offseason with his family following his heroics in the World Series against the New York Yankees in October.
Freddie Freeman's wife, Chelsea, shared pictures from their visit to Crypto.com Arena on Friday night for the LA Lakers' home game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Freddie and several of his Dodgers teammates were honored by the Lakers on Friday for their 2024 World Series triumph.
While the Dodgers players paraded the World Series trophy and met with NBA and Lakers icon LeBron James, Freddie Freeman's eldest son, Charlie, shared a precious moment with 'King' James.
He had a handshake with the four-time NBA champion as the future Hall of Famer exchanged a few words with the young Freeman. It was the eldest of the three Freeman siblings' first Lakers game, and Charlie won't be forgetting it anytime soon.
Several Lakers players also posed for a picture with Freedie and Dodgers stars and the World Series trophy, including LeBron's son Bronny James.
Freddie Freeman & Co. energized the Lakers to win against 76ers
The Lakers ended their two-game losing skid with the World Series MVP, Freddie Freeman and his teammates in the house. Lakers center Anthony Davis shared what it felt like to meet the World Series winners with an interesting story.
"It was good…I’m banned from going to Dodgers Stadium,” Davis said. “[They’re] 0-4 when I go to a game so I just watch it on TV now. It’s good. It’s motivating. To see them holding the trophy, they met with us in the back before the game and then, at the end of the first quarter, to be able to see that brings a little extra motivation to our team to try to do the same thing for LA.”
Freddie Freeman's journey to the 2024 World Series triumph was nothing short of inspirational, as the All-Star baseman fought through injuries during the postseason along with his youngest son Max's battle against a neurogical disorder diagnosed in August.
