In photos: Hunter Greene's adorable French bulldog pup Ross makes pawsome debut in Reds gear for game day

This weekend, Hunter Greene brought a cute little friend to the ballpark. In a post-match interview after the Cincinnati Reds versus the Los Angeles Dodgers game, Greene brought his adorable French bulldog puppy Ross to the media conference room.

Ross looked precious in his tiny Reds jersey. Greene held him throughout the conference and even urged the reporters to quickly finish with the questions to give the puppy a rest.

“I need to train him to talk,” Greene said.” OK Ross, you are gonna sit right here. Okay, guys [reporters], go ahead, we are gonna make it quick, I don’t want him [Ross] to poop.”

Ross also got a knitted Reds baseball bat as a gift, which completed his look along with the red jersey.

Greene gave an impressive performance against the Dodgers on Saturday night. Ohtani struggled while playing his pitches. Greene went for two at bat and made eight pitches, all of which were strikes, and had two strikeouts. The fastest pitch that he delivered that day clocked at a speed of 87 mph.

Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts was stunned by his performance and acknowledged it.

“He threw a lot of strikes and kept it out of the middle of the plate, got himself out of jams. He’s a good pitcher. So I mean, that’s going to stand out about him,” Betts said (as per MLB.com).

The Reds won 3-1 against the Dodgers, and it was an important series win. Hunter Greene currently boasts an ERA of 3.06 with 71 strikeouts. He also has a WHIP of 1.14.

The day Hunter Greene introduced Ross

Ross can be considered a boon in Hunter Greene’s life. Greene introduced Ross to the baseball world on Tuesday through an X post. He considered the day to be very important for his life.

"Excited about this new chapter in my life! Big day tomorrow!" Greene captioned a post.

The post came just after the Reds' defeat against the Dodgers where Greene had allowed two runs in six innings.

The next day, Greene posted pictures of the main character of his life's "new chapter," writing:

"Got a new best friend...and his name is Ross."

On Saturday night, Greene's pitches clocked at 99 mph, and he made a total of 107 pitches. In the last 37 innings that he has played, he has only allowed two home runs. Every player has a lucky charm in their life, and Ross seems to be one for Hunter Greene.
