Amid their happy life, Jackson is also improving in his second major league call-up after the All-Star break.
Jackson Holliday's wife Chloé celebrates her husband’s game-winning shot
On Saturday, in the third game of the series against the Houston Astros, Jackson Holliday pitch hit for Emmanuel Rivera, clearing the bases with three RBIs that gave his team a 3-2 lead and an eventual win.
Chloé highlighted her husband’s game-winning double on her Instagram story:
The slugger’s major league debut was one of the most anticipated events for fans this season, but it didn't go as expected. Despite having praise-worthy minor league stats, he struggled in his first call-up in April, going 2-to-34 with five runs and a sole RBI.
Jackson Holliday had a stat line of .059/.111/.059 and an OPS of .170 during his brief 10-game stint with the Orioles. He was sent back to Triple-A, and many speculated that his next appearance in the majors would be in the following season.
However, the O’s showed confidence in their top prospect and called him up at the end of July. This time, the results were different. The slugger is now 18-for-89, with 14 runs, 18 RBIs and five home runs, with a slash line of .217/.270/.446 and an OPS of .716 in 24 games.
