In Photos: Jackson Holliday's wife Chloe glams up in a suit for romantic date night with Orioles rookie husband at NYC
Baltimore Orioles rookie Jackson Holliday brought his wife Chloe along with him to New York for a three-game road series against the Yankees, starting Tuesday. The series is bound to have serious repercussions on playoffs seeding, as the Yankees are leading by six games over the Orioles.
If the Yankees lose their remaining six games and the Orioles win their remaining outings, a power shift will be there in the AL East. Otherwise, the Yankees are just a win away to clinch the division, avoiding a Wild Card route.
On Monday, as the Orioles players observed an off-day, Jackson Holliday hit the streets of New York for a date night. They visited "Joe & the Juice" before heading out for a date night. Chloe suited herself up with an all-black attire suit, while Holliday paired it with a simple English outfit comprising a T-shirt over black pants.
Who was the matchmaker in Jackson Holliday and Chloe's relationship?
Jackson Holliday and Chloe attended high school in Stillwater, Oklahoma. One common element that introduced each other was Holliday's cousin Olivia who was good friends with Chloe in high school.
"We moved to Oklahoma in my freshman year of high school and so Chloe and my cousin Olivia were pretty good friends," Jackson told Annabelle Hasselbeck on Sports Specturm podcast (2:38).
"So, I had known Chloe, kind of started talking that summer and then once the school year rolled around when we were sophmores in high school, we just started kind of hanging out almost every day and started dating and here we are now. So, pretty easy meet up, nothing too crazy but yeah my cousin kind of hooked everything up a little bit," said Jackson.
Jackson Holliday and Chloe both went on to attend Oklahoma State University. While Holliday went there to play college baseball, Chloe is attending online classes for her marketing degree, as revealed by Jackson in an interview with SportsKeeda.
The couple got engaged while on a Mexican trip in 2022. Just over a year later, they would tie the knot in January 2024.
