In Photos: Jackson Holliday & wife Chloe enjoy sushi date, accompanied by their furry companion
While the Baltimore Orioles top prospect Jackson Holliday bides his time on the injured list, his wife Chloe and their furry companion Coconut were in the company of each other to enjoy an off-field date. Chloe shared a story on social media where the three of them were seen enjoying a sushi supper.
Apart from the delicious sushi, there were some peas on the side and some canned drinks.
On the baseball front, Jackson Holliday will spend time on the injury list due to right elbow inflammation, the Baltimore Orioles said on Friday. Holliday who had a disappointing majors stint (2-for-34 with 18 strikeouts), was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk, where he wreaked havoc at plate.
So far for Norfolk, he's hitting .270 with seven home runs and 28 RBIs in 50 games. The severity of the injury is yet not been disclosed, but there are chances that it will at least take two weeks before Holliday returns at plate.
Jackson Holliday and his pet Coconut's reunion captured by Chloe
The three of them have often been spotted together, whether it's about date night or attending Holliday's baseball games at the ballpark. Holliday, being a baseball player, needs to go on for long road trips, rendering Chloe and her furry friend without his company.
So when two days ago, the trio met, it was fitting for Coconut to run up to Holliday and jumping on him for a jubilant reunion. Chloe, behind the camera, captured the moment and shared it on social media, with a caption:
“@jackson_holliday7 (Jackson Holliday’s Instagram handle) is front door famous for this lil guy,” Chloe wrote on her story.
In the background of the post, Chloe used the song "Front Door Famous" by Luke Combs, which was fitting considering the moment.
Holliday and Chloe got engaged while on a trip to Mexico in Dec. 2022. Earlier this year, the couple tied the knot on Jan. 6.
