In Photos: Jose Canseco's daughter Josie gets 'cozy' for her latest beachside photoshoot
Jose Canseco's daughter, Josie, has carved out a good career in modeling and has many endorsement deals with brands and fashion houses. One of her partners is Alo, a premium athletic apparel brand based out of Los Angeles.
Josie often posts about Alo outfits on Instagram, and she did so again on Friday. She shared a photo at a beach, wearing a gray-toned athletic outfit.
"cozy @alo," she wrote in her caption.
Despite bearing Canseco's name, Josie had to struggle in her early days, like any other model. She dismissed rumors of her career ascension attributed to her father's profile, saying she made her own living.
Canseco said via The Post:
“My agency believed in me and was fronting me for rent and pocket money for my first two years of my career, so when I’d get paid from jobs they’d recoup that.
"Eventually I had built a clientele, and I was out of debt with [the agency] and could afford to not stay in those anymore. Regardless how rough those apartments could be, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I met some amazing women. And luckily, I got along with most of them.”
Josie's modeling résumé now includes top fashion houses, including Victoria's Secret, and collaborations with Maxim and Harper's Bazaar.

"My hero and best friend, I am so proud of you. Inducted into the Oakland's Hall of Fame today. Light work," Josie wrote.
