In Photos: Justin Verlander's wife Kate Upton graces V Magazine's latest cover alongside supermodels Isabeli Fontana, Daiane Sodre & more
Justin Verlander's wife, Kate Upton, is making it onto the covers of some of the most famous magazines in America this year. Her latest photoshoot was for the Volume 149 summer edition of V Magazine, in which she posed alongside some of the top supermodels, namely Candice Swanpoel, Daiane Sodre, and Isabeli Fontana.
All the models, along with the magazine office staff, the fashion designers, and the photographers, were present for an intimate dinner event at the Jazz Cafe at Casa Cripriani in Manhattan on Friday night.

Kate Upton rocked an elegant gold-colored dress with matching broad heels for the dinner party. While she celebrated the launch of yet another magazine issue as the cover model, Upton has already been featured on the covers of two other famous magazines this year. Those magazines are the 60th-anniversary issue of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit and the 032c magazine.
As good a year as Upton is having, her husband and three-time Cy Young Award winner, Justin Verlander, has been plagued with injuries this season. Initially, Verlander suffered an injury to his pitching shoulder, which sidelined him for spring training and, subsequently, for the first three weeks of the 2024 campaign.
Verlander completed rehab and made an effective comeback to the Astros bullpen in late April but has been put on IL yet again since making his last start on June 9 against the Angels due to neck soreness. He has made 10 starts so far this season, with a record of 3-2 and a 3.95 ERA.
While the veteran ace progresses through his rehab, Justin Verlander has been grateful for the support of two of the most important women in his life, wife Kate Upton and daughter Genevieve.
Kate and their daughter have been to most of Verlander's home games since her birth in 2018. The happy family of three resides in Houston, where Justin currently plays ball with the Astros.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in April, Kate Upton shared the striking resemblance that she observed between Justin Verlander and daughter Genevieve:
"She is an only child and Justin is a first child, and I really think that there’s a birth order thing. I’m a third child. I’ve never met a rule, so she doesn’t get that from me."
Upton said this in context of her daughter following orders and rules just like her father, which is a trait she didn't get from her.
