In a getaway with her college friends, Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne showed off her cooking skills with a guacamole dish that was a favorite among all her friends.
The 21-year-old gymnast and social media celebrity is better known among MLB fans as Skenes' girlfriend, and remains a part of the LSU Tigers gymnastics team. In a trip to the Gulf Shores with her college friends, Dunne shared photos and video clips of winning her friends over with a guacamole dish on her Snapchat profile:
Olivia Dunne is a native of New Jersey who went to study at the Luoisiana State University in 2020 to continue her career in gymastics after representing the USA in 2017.
She soon made a name for herself in the NCAA and the SEC championships. It was there that she met boyfriend Paul Skenes, who's now a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates in the MLB.
The same year she joined the LSU Tigers, Dunne also joined TikTok, where she went on to become one of the biggest solcial media celebrities in the world. Today, she boasts over eight million followers on TikTok and 5.3 million followers on Instagram.
As a social media celebrity, she's active across platforms, and her getaway to Gulf Shores attracted a lot of interest.
Pirates ace Paul Skenes ties franchise record for most strikeouts by a rookie since 1900
The Pittsburgh Pirates recorded a commanding 5-0 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday night, with rookie sensation Paul Skenes throwing five shutout innings to secure the win.
While it was another trademark performance from the young ace, Skenes recorded his 142nd strikeout of the season, tying the franchise record for most strikeouts by a rookie.
At the rate he's going, it's only a matter of time before the 22-year-old breaks the Pirates franchise record in a season where he's a frontrunner for the Rookie of the Year award in the MLB.
Skenes threw five scoreless innings on the night, allowing only four hits while recording six strikeouts. The two teams face each other to settle the series on Wednesday evening.
