In Photos: Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne drops 'long awaited' media day snaps in leotard
Paul Skenes' rookie season for the Pittsburgh Pirates may be over, but his girlfriend Olivia Dunne's college season is just getting started. Dunne, who is famous on social media, will return for her fifth and final season with the LSU Tigers, aiming to defend the national championship that the team won in April.
As for the Pittsburgh Pirates rookie, he can sit back and enjoy the ongoing postseason from the sidelines. The Pirates didn't qualify for the postseason as they finished 13 games behind the final NL Wild Card spot. Still, Skenes can take pride in his rookie season, where he posted an 11-3 record with a 1.96 ERA, making him a strong contender for NL Rookie of the Year.
On Tuesday, Olivia Dunne posted "long-awaited" media day snaps in her LSU Tigers leotard, showcasing various gymnastics poses. She captioned the post:
"5th times the charm!😁 #superseniorszn."
She reposted it on her Instagram story, writing:
"The long awaited media day pics."
Who is Olivia Dunne's dream NIL collaboration?
Over the years, Olivia Dunne has worked with many top stars for her NIL commitments. She is the highest-paid female college athlete in terms of NIL earnings, according to On3.
At the premiere of Prime Video's NIL documentary series “The Money Game,” a reporter asked Dunne about her dream NIL collaboration partner. Channeling her inner Swiftie, the gymnast said:
"I think the inner 'Swiftie' in me is saying Taylor Swift."
Interestingly, Olivia Dunne has already partnered with Taylor Swift's boyfriend and three-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce for an Accelerator Active Energy commercial.
In another question, Dunne said she would like to continue her association with Sports Illustrated after college.
“I feel like [Sports Illustrated] is something that can last beyond college,” Dunne told the New York Post. “I think that’s important, creating a substantial brand that will last post-college. And [SI Swim] is one of those, I don’t even want to call it a partnership, because they’re like family to me. That’s been amazing.”
Olivia Dunne, who earns over $3.9 million in NIL deals annually, has signed deals with top brands and companies such as Vuori, Nautica, Accelerator, Leaf Trading Cards, Motorola, Caktus AI, American Eagle and Body Armor.
She has also expressed interest in helping up-and-coming college athletes navigate the complexities of NIL deals and help them through her network after her own college career ends.
