Paul Skenes is all set to make his next start against the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium, and his girlfriend Olivia Dunne has landed in LA to cheer him on from the stands. Olivia made the trip from New Jersey to California to support and root for Skenes, who's still looking for his first win since the All-Star break.
Livvy sported a geeky look with glasses and a hoodie on as she travelled from the Newark Liberty International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport on Friday. She uploaded some pictures from her trip on Snapchat and captioned them:
"Too early for this."
"Made it to Cali."
Olivai Dunne has been present in the stands for all of Skenes' home starts this season at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. The duo have been dating since 2023, when they crossed paths on the grounds of Lousiana State University.
Livvy was competing with the Tigers gymnastics team, while Skenes had transferred to their baseball team from the Air Force Falcons in 2022.
Both Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes are NCAA champions with the LSU Tigers in their respective sporting fields. Paul won the College World Series in 2023, while Olivia won the NCAA championship with LSU in April. In July, she announced her commitment for a fifth year with the Tigers gymnastics team.
Olivia Dunne has been one of the biggest supporters of Paul Skenes throughout his endeavors, both on and off the field. Skenes has showcased remarkable pitching prowess since making his MLB debut in May.
In just two months, he racked up six wins, which earned him the nod to become the NL All-Star starter in the Midsummer Classic on July 17. He has yet to register a win in the second half of the campaign and has failed to do so in three starts since the All-Star break.
Olivia Dunne's boyfriend Paul Skenes will hope to register a win against the Dodgers on Saturday
