Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne and Jared Jones' fiancee Rylie Fox are bonding well with other Pirates WAGs during gamedays at PNC Park. While the two rookie pitchers have found insurmountable success in their first season as big leaguers, their partners are also enjoying time while intermingling with other girls over pre-game feasts and drinks.
Olivia and Rylie posted snaps showcasing their pre-game meals and drafts before game 2 between the Pirates and the Mets. Take a look at the images shared by them:
The other girls in the pictures are Ali Martin, Pirates backstop Henry Davis' fiancee Sofia Taranis and second baseman Nick Gonzales' fiancee Rylee Rose Amado. The girls were observed drinking pre-game champagne and cocktails while devouring some delectable snacks.
Paul Skenes and Jared Jones are both 22-year-old pitchers who have generated immense respect for themselves in the league. Skenes is boasting a 5-0 record, while Jones is 5-6 for the season with the Pirates. Jared made his last start on Wednesday against the Cardinals, soon after which he was put on a 15-day injured list due to a strained right lat.
Paul, meanwhile, made a winning start in the series opener against the Mets on Friday, pitching for a solid seven innings for the second time this campaign, giving up two runs on four hits and striking out eight batters to propel Pittsburgh to a 14-2 win.
Jared Jones will not start any game before the All-Star break, while Paul Skenes will make his next start on Wednesday
The upcoming week will be the last of the regular season before the All-Star break, as the best of the best head over to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, for the All-Star game and events.
However, before the Pirates crew breaks out for the break, their ace starter Paul Skenes will make his 11th start of the campaign in the three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field.
However, Pittsburgh's other rookie ace, Jared Jones, will unfortunately not be able to make a start before the All-Star break, as he continues to work in rehab, recovering from a right lat injury.
