Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne had an action-packed day of adrenaline-fueled fun with her LSU Tigers gymnastics teammates. That comes after she had announced committing to a fifth year with the team in July.
The entire team went on a field trip to the Southern State of Alabama. Take a look at various images from the trip here:
The LSU Tigers gymnastics team started off their journey by going to the regional convenience store Buc-ee's. There, Olivia Dunne and her teammates picked up the desired essentials before heading towards a beautiful beach front villa cum cabin at the Gulf Shores, AL.
As the team enjoyed the scenic beauty of the beach and blue pristine waters, they bonded over many activities, like bracelet making, where Livvy could be observed donning two bracelets that read 'Geaux' and 'Love'.
Thereafter, Livvy and her LSU teammates also enjoyed time pollside as they sipped on their healthy drinks and enjoyed the field trip before they headed back to LSU to start preparing for the upcoming NCAA gymnastics season.
Olivia Dunne had a busy summer, as she accomplished many personal achievements, including becoming the highest-paid collegiate athlete via her NIL deals and claiming her hands on the NCAA title in April.
Moreover, Dunne travelled with her family and friends, but most importantly, she was in attendance at PNC Park for all of Paul Skenes' home starts with the Pirates in 2024. Skenes made an emphatic debut in the MLB in May, and, since then, he has showcased pure class with his pitching variations and velocities.
Paul Skenes will make his next start against the Cubs at Wrigley Field on Tuesday
Paul Skenes is 8-2 for the season with a 2.23 ERA, 136 strikeouts and 0.95 WHIP. He pitched well against the Cubs at PNC Park on Wednesday, giving up two earned runs on five hits and striking out six batters in five innings pitched. The Pirates eventually lost 14-10, but Skenes avoided registering a loss.
Paul Skenes will now take to the mound next against the Cubs yet again at Wrigley Field on Tuesday in hopes of registering his ninth win of the campaign. This will be his fourth start against the Cubs in 2024. Skenes is 1-0 through three starts against them.
