In Photos: Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne makes the best out of her Dodger Stadium experience during her recent LA trip
Paul Skenes' girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, was in LA over the weekend to attend the game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Dodgers in Chavez Ravine. Apart from visiting Dodger Stadium, Dunne also made sure to embrace the city, tasting local cuisine while catching up with friends and family.
On Monday, she shared a series of photos from her LA trip. She went on a luncheon with family and attended the game involving Skenes on Sunday.
Skenes suffered only his second loss of the season against the formidable Dodgers side. In 6.0 innings pitched, he allowed four earned runs while striking out eight hitters.
In the last few weeks, Olivia Dunne has been to many places. A couple of weeks ago, she went to Paris to attend the Summer Games. She met fellow LSU athletes and US athletes at the Games and cheered for them.
She also explored the "City of Love," visiting iconic landmarks, including the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum.
Upon returning from Paris, Dunne spent a busy day in New York before taking a road trip to Pittsburgh to attend Paul Skenes' start against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Aug. 3.
Paul Skenes shares his learning cues from Olivia Dunne
Paul Skenes and Olivia Dunne attended LSU and raised their banners in their respective sport. While fame touched Skenes after he won the College World Series last year, Dunne was already a social media star by then, which has helped Skenes.
After making his MLB debut in May this year, Skenes has been on fire and reasonably earned plaudits on social media. In an interview, Skenes shared his takeaways from Dunne.
“It’s been great. She’s helped me in a lot of ways in terms of managing all the hype — how to manage everything that goes around being a pro athlete [because] she’s kinda lived it,” Skenes told MLB Network.
Meanwhile, Dunne continues to raise the bar for all college female athletes in terms of NIL earnings. She stands second behind Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders in the NIL rankings on On3. With her $3.9 million NIL earnings, she has paved the way for many female athletes to establish themselves in the college landscape.
