Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne is making stops, first in NYC for Fanatics Fest and then going back to Baton Rouge for her preparation for the upcoming season with LSU.
With her boyfriend's next start scheduled at PNC Park against the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday, instead of opting for commercial flights, she chose a private jet. And tagging along was her pet, Roux. On Wednesday, she posted snaps of the two heading for the jet. Dunne wore a white-printed outfit and also posted one picture from inside the jet.
"LSU to Pitt real quick ;)," she wrote in her story.
The last time around, she had to take a road trip to Pennsylvania since her flight got canceled. Moreover, Olivia Dunne in Pittsburgh for Paul Skenes' games has been a constant. Right from his debut game against the Chicago Cubs, the LSU star has remained steadfast in her support for her beau.
Olivia Dunne becomes Paul Skenes to throw "splinker"
Over the weekend, Olivia Dunne was at the Javits Center for the Fanatics Fest. There, she dressed up like Paul Skenes to catch everyone by surprise. She even sported the rookie's signature mustache.
Surrounded in the hall among fans, Dunne imitated the Pirates' ace pitching stance to throw a "splinker" and then followed it up with some moves.
Later on Sunday, Olivia Dunne went undercover, donning a black overall look, to go shopping for Paul Skenes' Topps baseball cards. She was surprised to learn their prices, saying, "He's just a pitcher."
She struck a hard bargain and finally was able to get two cards for $2,450, earning an 8% discount on the offered price of $3,150.
The couple has been together since their time at LSU. Both helped raise banners for LSU in their respective professions. While Paul Skenes won the College World Series in 2023, Dunne won the NCAA championship with the Lady Tigers in April.
