Paul Skenes and girlfriend Olivia Dunne rocked the MLB All-Star red carpet event in Arlington, Texas, on Tuesday night. While Skenes wore an all-white suit with a black tie, Livvy wore a beautiful sparkly body-hugging gown for a 'Mermaid outlook' on the special day.

Olivia shared some highlights from the red carpet event on Instagram, with the caption:

Olivia Dunne has been deeply supportive and understanding of Paul Skenes' career as he made the transition from collegiate to professional baseball. She has been present for all of his starts at PNC Park this season.

The duo had crossed paths on the grounds of LSU when they were playing, as they were representing the collegiate team in their respective sporting fields.

Livvy had an amazing first half of the year, helping the Tigers win their maiden NCAA tilt and going on to sign a deal with Passes.com to become the highest-earning collegiate athlete. Last year, Paul Skenes powered the Tigers to a seventh College World Series victory and also won the most outstanding player award.

While Olivia Dunne committed to the LSU women's gymnastics team for a fifth year in early July, Skenes is busy making a mark for himself in his rookie season of MLB. He rushed to a 6-0 record through his first 11 starts since making his debut with the Pirates a little over two months ago, in May.

His miserly ERA of 1.90, coupled with 89 strikeouts and a 0.92 WHIP, helped him create history by becoming the first player to earn an All-Star nod in their first season in the MLB.

And he didn't fail to impress during his start for the NL All-Stars on Tuesday night. He faced four prolific batters from the AL but pitched a solo scoreless inning to cap off an amazing All-Star outing.

Olivia Dunne reflects on Paul Skenes' pitching: "It is incredible"

While on the red carpet besides Paul Skenes, Olivia Dunne was asked how she felt watching the Pirates ace pitch during games, to which she replied:

"My brain cannot even process how hard he throws. Like it is incredible, and it is such a joy to watch, and he is a great baseball player but an even better person."

Skenes' next start of the 2024 season is yet to be announced as the Pirates open a three-game series against the Phillies at home on Friday.
