In Photos: Paul Skenes & girlfriend Olivia Dunne show off toned figures while soaking up the Florida sun during recent beach getaway
Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes and his girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, took some time off, jetting off to Florida to spend the weekend. Both LSU graduates have been dating for two years and have won NCAA championships in their respective professions.
The first overall pick of the 2023 MLB draft made his debut earlier this year in May against the Chicago Cubs. Ever since, Skenes has been sensational, putting up unseen numbers on his way to rookie All-Star selection. He finished the year with a 1.96 ERA and going 11-3. Meanwhile, in July, Livvy announced that she'd be returning for her fifth and final with the LSU Tigers gymnastics team.
On Saturday, the couple soaked under the sun on Jupiter Beach in Florida. Dunne shared an Instagram story in which she was looking up in the sky with a happy face, while a shirtless Skenes was captured from behind in another picture.
Olivia Dunne shares initial reaction to SI's rookie feature, giving her best of both worlds
There are rarely many people out there who get to enjoy both the world of glamor and sports. If there's a list, Olivia Dunne would be among the first.
The LSU gymnast attained an immense following after enrolling in LSU in 2020. Her TikTok videos garnered attention from fans, which has led her to sign many NIL deals and lead all college female athletes in terms of earnings.
On the glamor side, she has been featured on the cover of top magazines, but none could topple her rookie feature in the legendary Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in 2023. Talking about it, she shared how she felt about being on the bright side of both professions.
“When people look at my Sports Illustrated [Swimsuit] photos, I want them to take away that you can have the best of both worlds," Dunne said via Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. "You can be an athlete, you can be in school, you can do modeling. And you can be a strong, independent woman while doing it all.”
In a six-part documentary "The Money Game" released last month, Dunne said after this college gymnastics season she'd like to help the upcoming college athletes understand NIL space.
