In Photos: Walker Buehler's wife McKenzie reflects on "most amazing gift from God," asks time to "slow down" to cherish moments

McKenzie Buehler, Walker Buehler’s wife, feels time is passing fast and wants it to slow down. The reason? Their daughter, Finley.

Married in December 2021, Walker and McKenzie became parents for the first time in February when they welcomed Finley into their family.

Little Finley is now six months old and is often in social media posts with Mommy McKenzie. To celebrate Finley turning six months old, McKenzie uploaded some photos on Instagram and wrote a heartfelt note in the caption:

McKenzie wished her husband Walker Buehler a happy 30th birthday

Walker Buehler tuned 30, four days ago (July 28). Wife McKenzie compiled several photos of them together, including a father-daughter snap, and shared them on Instagram.

“Happy 30th birthday to the love of my life! Finley and I are so thankful for all that you do for us and all the love you give us! Love celebrating you and hope you have the best day ever!!” she wished Buehler.

McKenzie (previously known as McKenzie Marcinek) and Walker Buehler have known each other since high school. McKenzie, who works as a website and marketing manager for Worlds Apart, deeply supports her partner, especially in a slump.

One of the Dodgers’ most dominant starters in 2021, Buehler hit a high wall when suffered a midseason injury in 2022 and underwent Tommy John Surgery, missing the entire 2023 season and the first half of 2024. He returned to the league this year after a long break, only to get injured again after eight starts with a 5.84 ERA in 37 innings.

The trade deadline is over, and the Dodgers retained Buehler, who’s recovering from a hip injury. It’s been over a month since he entered the IL. On July 26, He started his rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City but failed to produce a positive result, making his rotation return uncertain for the time being.
