New York Mets pitcher Edwin Diaz’s wife Nashaly rocked social media on Tuesday by posting a picture showing off her stylish taste, drawing numerous comments and hundreds of likes from Edwin Diaz’s fans and admirers.
Here's a look at Nashaly Diaz’s Instagram gallery.
The original caption in Spanish talks about how the dress boasts an "elegant red" tone, making it a color that never goes unnoticed. It is a color that conveys passion and confidence everywhere one goes.
A look through Nashaly’s IG profile reveals pictures of the family depicting fun times together while enjoying some memorable offseason moments.
The Diaz family will have plenty of time to enjoy the holidays before the business of baseball begins in the early spring.
The Mets will be among this season’s most-watched teams after signing the offseason’s biggest free agent, Juan Soto.
In the meantime, it’s time for Nashaly to captivate her husband as the couple makes the most of their time together with their two beautiful children as they ring in the holidays.
For Edwin Diaz, family means everything
Edwin Diaz, or “Sugar” as he is nicknamed, got his start in the majors after being drafted in the third round in 2012 by the Seattle Mariners.
Diaz made the big leagues in 2016 and has not looked back. However, he has not forgotten his roots. Hailing from Naguabo in Puerto Rico, he calls the town of Daguao home as most of his family lives there.
In a 2017 interview, Sugar told a local Puerto Rican newspaper how much he enjoys spending time at home in Puerto Rico with his family. He loves going back there every year to spend time with loved ones.
A feature on Diaz by US Weekly in 2023 chronicled the Diaz family’s journey. Edwin and Nashaly have been a couple since 2012, marrying in 2019. The couple welcomed their first son in 2016 while Edwin was still a member of the Mariners.
Following Diaz’s trade from the Mariners to the Mets, the Diaz family relocated to New York, where their second child was born in 2021.
While family bliss has been the norm for the Diazes, it hasn’t all been sweet. Edwin Diaz suffered a devastating knee injury during the World Baseball Classic in 2019, causing him to miss significant time that year.
Diaz has rebounded and is now back among the top relievers in the majors.
