Jackson Holliday has had a better second stint in the big leagues with the Birds than his first one in April. Baltimore's top prospect played just ten MLB games in April and slashed a miserly .059 batting average with no home runs, one RBI, and striking out 18 times in 34 at-bats.

As a result of his struggles, he was demoted back to play with the Norfolk Tides in the minor leagues. But with grit, tenacity, and active support from his life partner, Chloe, the 20-year-old second baseman, prospered during his MiLB outings, which led to the Orioles calling him up again to the majors on July 31.

Holliday has been showcasing good plate discipline and impressive hitting prowess in his second run in the MLB. He has a batting average of .175 with five home runs, 19 RBIs, and .572 OPS.

Chloe celebrated Jackson Holliday's maiden career four-hit game with the Orioles

In Game 2 of a four-game series against the Red Sox at home in Oriole Park, Jackson Holliday conjured up a record-breaking four hits in the game. This was his maiden four-hit game with the Orioles, and despite his efforts resulting in a 12-10 defeat, Chloe celebrated the same by sharing a snapshot of some positive lines from the gospel in her Instagram story.

Holliday showed signs of improvement right away in his first game back for the Orioles on July 31. In that game against Baltimore's AL East rivals, the Blue Jays, he helped his team get over the line by smashing his maiden MLB career grand slam.

The signs are promising for the Orioles and Jackson Holliday. The ballclub will be hopeful for their rookie star to continue his strong at-bats for the remainder of the season as they eye defending their AL East crown.
