Jackson Holliday's wife Chloe dons custom gear to support husband in Orioles vs. Royals game at Camden Yards
While Jackson Holliday and the Baltimore Orioles lost the wildcard round series to the Kansas City Royals at Camden Yards, crowd support wasn't one of the reasons why they lost. Orioles fans arrived in big numbers to support their home team who were 1-0 down coming into Wednesday's game.
Holliday was a part of the postseason crew but didn't feature in any of the games. With the Orioles now knocked off, his rookie season took a closure, but as usual, his wife there to support him.
On Wednesday, Jackson Holliday's wife Chloe arrived at Camden Yards wearing a custom baseball cap with "Holliday" written on it. In one another snap, she shared the wholesome reaction of the crowd watching the game.
With their season ended, Holliday can look forward to a relaxing offseason. While his spring training and minor league numbers were great, his regular-season numbers were from what was desired.
In 60 games and 190 at-bats, Holliday hit .189 along with five home runs and four stolen bases.
How did Jackson Holliday and Chloe spend their last offseason?
Jackson and Chloe, who have known each other since high school, used their last offseason to go on a trip to the Dominican Republic with a non-profit organization named "Compassion." There they met local people in a remote location who don't have the same luxury as many others.
The couple spent a few days with them, understanding their culture and creating memories. Chloe, a devout Christian, went on to cite Romans 15:13 in the caption of her post:
"I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
"Seeing these sweet people live out this verse has been so impactful! The joy that they have is unmatched! And the love the boys have for baseball is incredible and their talent puts a smile on your face! Jax and I are so grateful to have gone on this trip with @compassion."
The post included Jackson Holliday teaching some baseball skills with a few young baseball enthusiasts, while, Chloe, in one post, was seen enjoying time around her kids.
