Jackson Holliday’s wife Chloe dubs Orioles rookie a 'professional chef' as he impresses with fried rice skills in offseason
Jackson Holliday has been trying different things in his time off from the field, with his wife Chloe Holliday documenting the experience on Instagram story. Holliday tested his skills in cooking, and Chloe boasted about it on social media.
Jackson Holliday got picked up by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2022 MLB Draft, but the rookie had an underwhelming season. He has been spending some quality time with his wife, whom he met during his highschool years in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
"My guy has become a professional fried rice chef," Chloe said in her Instagram story.
In the picture, Jackson Holliday, donning a black cap and pink T-shirt, has his back towards the camera and is focused on the stove and his prepared fried rice.
He had a good start in this season and was called up at the Orioles in April but was sent back down after a few games. He was recalled on July 31, when he announced his arrival with a grand slam hit, his first MLB home run.
Chloe Holliday sports the jersey number of her husband Jackson Holliday
The Baltimore Orioles players had an early offseason after they lost in the AL East wild card round to the Kansas City Royals. Since then, Jackson and his wife Chloe have been active on Instagram.
One such update came through the Instagram story of Chloe Holliday, where she wore a sweatshirt with the words 'Child of God' written on the back. Below it, the T-shirt also had the number '07', the jersey number of Jackson.
"Definitely will be a OOTG," she captioned her story.
The top was created by Not Yet Home, a religious-based clothing lime and caught the attention of the couple, especially Chloe.
The couple has been spending quality time with each other in their hometown in Oklahoma before Holliday enters preseason starts after the ongoing World Series gets over.
