Jackson Holliday's wife Chloe reacts to 'baby’s first Clinchmas' as Orioles clench postseason spot in husband's rookie year

The Baltimore Orioles have booked their place in the postseason for a second consecutive season after defeating division rivals the New York Yankees in the series opener on Tuesday.

A 5-3 win over the AL East leaders at Yankee Stadium was enough for the Orioles to clinch a playoff berth. As the Orioles players celebrated their triumph, there was a special section for rookie sensation Jackson Holliday.

Holliday's wife Chloe shared a clip from the clubhouse which featured celebratory drinks for the rookie with a note that read, "Baby's first Clinchmas."

The bottles, labeled "Bird Bath Water, contained non-alcoholic beverages for Jackson who is still 20.

Jackson and Chloe started dating in high school and took the relationship to the next level after getting married earlier this year before the Orioles No. 1 prospect's MLB debut.

Jackson Holliday's New York escapades with wife Chloe

The Orioles rookie wasn't part of the lineup for the series opener despite being in the news for his eye-catching costume earlier this week. Jackson Holliday was pictured dressed as Wendy Darling from Peter Pan while his teammates Colton Cowser and Jordan Westburg also arrived in NYC in costumes.

Holliday also enjoyed a day off with his wife Chloe ahead of the series opener against the Yankees. Chloe shared snaps of their time on the streets of New York.

With the win against the Yankees in the series opener, the Orioles have not only ensured their route to the postseason but have also kept alive their slim chances of clinching the division.

They currently trail the Yankees by five games and although improbable, they are, mathematically, still with a chance of toppling the Bronx Bombers. But for that to happen, the Yankees must lose all their remaining five games, including the two against the Orioles. Meanwhile, the Orioles will have to remain unbeaten for the rest of the regular season.
