Jackson Merrill, Xander Bogaerts, and Michael King's partners react to Adrian Morejon's girlfriend Melany's "400 personalities" spotlight struggle
Jackson Merrill's girlfriend Sammie Quinn and the wives of Xander Bogaerts and Michael King were quick to react when their Padres teammate Adrian Morejon's partner Melany shared several hilarious snaps.
Yesterday, Morejon's girlfriend posted several images on her Instagram with the caption:
"My 400 personalities fighting for the spot light this month."
The first snap on the post featured her in swimwear on a speedboat, followed by several snaps from different places. The post also featured a mirror selfie and a snap from a park, among others and a video of her dancing in her kitchen.
Within hours after Melany posted it on her Instagram, Jackson Merrill, Xander Bogaerts, and Michael King's partners reacted in the comments section.
"Love this," commented Sammie Quinn, Merrill's girlfriend.
"Slide 3 is my fave 😆, " commented Jarnely Martinus, Bogaerts girlfriend.
"Moooood," commented Sheila, Michael King's wife.
Melany, Sammie, Jarnely, and Sheila are very close, and their friendship circle includes Jeremiah Estrada's girlfriend Jianna Marie and Joe Musgrove's partner Arica Rose Christensen. The were often seen together during the Padres' postseason games.
Jackson Merrill's and Adrian Morejon's girlfriends don casual attire in selfies
Incidentally, close friends Sammie and Melany shared selfies on their Instagram stories yesterday. Quinn's selfie featured herself in casual attire, a black tee, and grey pajamas, also sporting a white headband.
On the other hand, Melany's selfie featured a golden-colored cat. Like Jackson Merrill's girlfriend, Morejon's partner wore a casual dress in the story, a pink tee, and black track pants. Melany captioned the Instagram story:
"Matching Hair."
As for the players' 2024 season, Morejon had an average year with the Padres as a relief pitcher, while Merrill was a revelation. He came second behind Paul Skenes in the NL Rookie of the Year voting. Moreover, he also won a Silver Slugger Award and featured in the All-MLB Second Team. The sky could be the limit with Merrill, and he will be one to watch out for.
