Joe Kelly's wife Ashley can't resist a dig at Yankees' 3-0 losing streak in World Series

LA Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly is known for making sarcastic digs against his opponents. And apparently, his wife Ashley is also not shy about firing some shots.

Ashley and his three kids are at Yankee Stadium, making the East Coast trip with her husband's team potentially winning the World Series as they are already up 3-0 in the series and are one win away from winning it all.

She posted an image of a large souvenir cup from Yankee Stadium filled with chicken tenders and fries, with a straw sticking out of the middle. Her caption was humorous, suggesting the stadium's food is far better than the Yankees' on-field performance.

"The only thing the Yankees are winning at is this genius concoction,” Ashley wrote in her story.

Joe Kelly's wife Ashley brings her three kids with her for Game 4

While it's not holiday season for kids, for several kids of the Dodgers stars, they joined their mothers with the team on the verge of clinching the World Series. Like other Dodgers wives, Ashley also brought her three kids to New York, flying to New York earlier Tuesday.

Joe Kelly's three kids, Knox and twins, Crue and Blake, seem to have enjoyed their time in NYC. Ashley posted their photos as the kids enjoyed their time in the Big Apple watching skating, visiting landmarks and, of course, at night, being at Yankee Stadium and cheering the Dodgers.

Why is Ashley Kelly's husband Joe Kelly not playing in the World Series?

Ahead of Game 1 of the World Series between the Dodgers and the Yankees, manager Dave Roberts cleared the air on the playing status of high-leverage reliever Joe Kelly.

“Not to start, not to start,” Roberts said. “Joe is still throwing and ramping up, but I think at the outset of, when we set the roster, I don’t think Joe’s a candidate right now.”

The pitcher was not added to the World Series roster as he has not fully recovered from the shoulder injury that has rendered him on the sidelines since late September.
