Josh Naylor's fiancee Chantel drops 3-word message after All-Star first baseman's Guardians departure for Diamondbacks
Josh Naylor's fiancee Chantel Collado reacted to Arizona Diamondbacks' welcome post for the first baseman after his arrival from Cleveland Guardians.
Naylor spent five seasons in Cleveland, but will now be heading to Arizona to fill the hole at first base for the Diamondbacks, in a trade deal which will see minor league pitcher Slade Cecconi and a Round B draft pick going to the Guardians.
In her social media post, Chantel Collado dropped a three-word message to mark her husband's trade acquisition by the Diamondbacks for the upcoming season of baseball. The caption on her social media post read:
"To new beginnings."
Naylor and Collado got engaged on June 12, 2023 after dating for more than nine years. They are high school sweethearts and attended the same high school in Canada.
They studied at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary School. Collado is a professional singer/songwriter and several of her tracks are available on Spotify, iTunes and her YouTube channel.

Josh Naylor produced one of the best season's of his MLB career last year with the Guardians. Cleveland registered an amazing run in the postseason but were ultimately stopped by the Yankees in the ALCS. Despite failing to reach the World Series, Naylor's offensive productions during the regular season were exemplary.
He finished the season with a .243 batting average, 31 home runs, 108 RBIs, 137 hits, and .776 OPS on his way to earn the maiden All-Star nod of his MLB career.
