Justin Turner's wife Kourtney delivers a 4-word reaction after 2x All-Star free agent's social media shift from spousal content to baseball
With another long and grueling baseball season now done and dusted, it appears infielder Justin Turner is making the most of the downtime, spending plenty of quality time with his wife Kourtney and young son, Bo. Looking at Turner's Instagram feed, it is quite easy to notice a shift, as Justin went from posting a lot of baseball-related content to much more family-related content ever since the end of the 2024 campaign.
With the 2025 season drawing ever closer though, it appears Turner is gradually beginning to post baseball-related content again after feedback from his wife, Kourtney. The 40-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday, posting a video as he took batting practice.
"Wife said I was posting her too much, so here’s some baseball stuff! @the_ballyard ⚾️" Justin Turner captioned his Instagram post.
Reacting to her husband's post, Kourtney Turner also left a comment, seemingly approving of the two-time All-Star's decision to finally transition back towards posting more baseball-related content.
"Get in the cages" Kourtney Turner commented.
Turner started the 2024 season playing for the Toronto Blue Jays, before being acquired by the Seattle Mariners before the trade deadline in late July. He had a decent year stats-wise, batting .259 with 11 home runs and 55 RBIs.
Justin Turner's wife Kourtney takes to Instagram to celebrate dog Moonshine's eighth birthday
On Tuesday, infielder Justin Turner's wife took to Instagram to post a message wishing her dog, Moonshine, a happy birthday, along with some adorable photos featuring Moonsine and the Turners' other dog, Rigby. The pup turned eight on the 18th of December.
Just like their popular parents, Moonshine and Rigby are also quite a hit among fans on social media, boasting over 9,000 followers on Instagram.
"Happy 8th birthday to our Moonie girl! You make life so much sweeter. ☀️🐾 @moonshineminpin" Kourtney Turner captioned her Instagram post
On the field, despite a great first half of the season, things did not go to plan post-All-Star break for Turner's team, the Seattle Mariners. They ended up surrendering their advantage at the top of the AL West to rivals the Houston Astros, eventually going on to miss out on postseason qualification.
Though missing out on October baseball after coming so close will no doubt sting, for now, Justin Turner can take his mind off the field and focus instead on spending plenty of quality time with his wife and young son.
Currently a free agent, Justin Turner said in September that he "100 percent" intends to play next season. However, it remains to be seen which team he will be playing for. Mariners GM Justin Hollander confirmed in November that Seattle is interested in re-signing Turner, although no deal has been struck yet.
