Los Angeles Dodgers fans to get up close with 2024 World Series trophy at Dodger stadium
It is on sports teams to create a more interactive experience with their fans. The Dodgers are certainly taking it to the next step as they are inviting their fans to relish the moment of clicking a snap with the 2024 World Series winning trophy.
The Dodgers had yet another successful season. They won the NL West again after edging out contenders - the San Diego Padres and the Arizona Diamondbacks. They beat the Padres in a closely fought NLDS before defeating the two New York clubs - the Mets in the NLCS and the Yankees in the World Series - to win their eighth franchise title.
There was cause for immense celebration as when the LA blue won their last championship ring, they were unable to host the victory parade due to COVID-19 restrictions. This time, they made the most of the ceremonial festivities as downtown Los Angeles was filled with Dodgers fans.
The Dodgers faithful will have a chance to get closer to the World Series trophy. In a special event, the Dodgers organization is showcasing the Commissioner's Trophy and are giving fans the opportunity to click a picture with it.
The ticketed event also covers a walk through Dodger Stadium, including the Vin Scully Press Box, along with a Dodgers special bobblehead, holiday edition. The tickets will cost $67.25 for adults and $47.25 for children aged more than 3 years. The trophy will be available to the public on the first two weekends of December.
