Luis Arraez's wife Gladys admires late Princess Diana's "Dress of Revenge" on French getaway with Padres star
The San Diego Padres infielder Luis Arraez and his wife Gladys visited La Galerie Dior in Paris, France, on Sunday and shared highlights from the iconic exhibit on her Instagram story. Among the historic Dior pieces that shaped the world of fashion, one standout was the dress worn by Princess Diana during her memorable debut at the Met Gala in 1996, shortly after her divorce from Prince Charles.
However, Gladys Penalver talked about the revenge dress worn by Princess Diana, which was different from the Dior dress featured on her Instagram Story. Princess Diana donned the revenge dress in 1994 at the Serpentine Gallery dinner, and it was the same night when Prince Charles confessed about his infidelity on National TV.
"The revenge dress was the one Princess Diana wore when she went to divorce Prince Charles," Gladys Penalver captioned the story.
After the Dior dress of the Princess of Wales, Gladys Penalver shared a glimpse of the first perfume crafted by Christian Dior, Miss Dior, originally made in 1947. She also talked about how Dior was inspired by his younger sister to make the perfume. Penalver also showcased a collection of Dior dresses that were inspired by the symmetry of domino patterns.
Gladys also shared some archives of pictures displayed in the gallery of the Christian Dior boutique back in 1947.

In the post, Gladys Penalver clicked pictures of herself from different angles. She sported an oversized leather blazer with a black skirt underneath. She also had a white necklace on her neck, and she modeled with a confident smile.
"📷👼🎵🩶" Gladys Penalver captioned her Instagram post.
Luis Arraez and his wife Gladys never shy away from posting their family pictures from time to time. They also did so at the very beginning of this month, where they talked about how this month is quite a beautiful month of any year.
"December 1st, the most beautiful month of the year 🎄🎅 I wish for Love ♥️ and Serenity🕊️ my family and friends' homes🏠, and that God showers us with many blessings 🙏" Gladys Penalver captioned her Instagram post in spanish.
Luis Arraez is currently taking time off the field and spending more time with his family. But he's expected to take things up again in the spring training in 2025.
