Mike Trout's wife Jessica inspires with biblical self care tips for a meaningful Holiday season
Mike Trout and his wife Jessica are devoted Christians, and Jessica frequently uses her social media to share more about her religion. The couple are parents to two sons. Their first child, Beckham Aaron Trout, was born on July 30, 2020. Earlier this year, they became parents for the second time, welcoming Jordy Michael Trout on June 30.
On Monday, Trout's wife Jessica shared a post, promoting the concept of "Biblical self-care." The post featured a pastel-themed illustration with six suggestions for self-care, each paired with a corresponding Bible verse.
Here's what she shared in the graphic:
- Pray in a peaceful space (Mark 1:35)
- Practice gratitude (1 Thessalonians 5:16)
- Spend time with God (James 4:8)
- Meditate on Scripture (Joshua 1:8)
- Take time to rest (Mark 6:31)
- Nourish your body (Matthew 15:32)
The post likely aimed at inspiring followers to care for themselves spiritually during the holiday season.
Mike Trout's wife Jessica reveals biblical importance of the rainbow
Another example of when Mike Trout's wife, Jessicam shared biblical knowledge through her social media was in June when she reshared a post where the user revealed the real meaning of the rainbow in the Bible.
"Absoultely NO hate to anyone, just wanted to share in case someone doesn't know what a rainbow actually represents in the Bible," Jessica wrote in her story.
The post that was reshared was from Instagram user Joshua Lutz. In the reel, he points towards the rainbow and shares its meaning.
"This, that belongs to God," the user said while pointing his finger to rainbow. "It has nothing to do with any type of pride. It's God's covenant with the Earth that he shall not destroy it with water."
On the baseball front, Mike Trout is coming off a tough season where he had to endure two serious injuries requiring surgery. As a result, he could only play 29 games this season. The centerfielder is hoping to be ready by Spring Training next year and hopes the Angels front office makes the right moves this offseason to give him a good shot at making the postseason.
