MLB fans in awe with an old video of Bo Jackson re-enacting Spiderman moment

Former baseballer and American footballer Bo Jackson was an absolute live wire on the field back in the day. Blessed with superhuman athletic abilities, Bo was the definition of a human highlight reel, according to many.

Bo plied his trade in both the MLB and NFL and was particularly well known for his physicality and tireless contributions on the field for his team.

He is the holder of a very unique award, being the only professional athlete in history to be named an All-Star in both baseball and football. A feat many believe will never be eclipsed.

An archived video of Bo re-enacting the Spider-Man moment with the Kansas City Royals made its rounds on Twitter recently, leaving MLB fans in awe of his skill.

This fan reminded everybody that Bo was making these plays with a dislocated hip, an injury that resulted in the most famous hip replacement surgery ever, and would eventually lead to the end of his athletic career.

@mlbelites_ That white Sox throw was with an artifical hip no less

Bo Jackson the greatest athlete of all time? This fan definitely thinks so.

@mlbelites_ Bo Jackson is the greatest athlete of all time…. Prove me wrong

This fan has the greatest explanation for why Bo was such an incredible athlete. His evasive running was surely a highlight, and it's great to see a mention of that.

@mlbelites_ People don't understand "athleticism". Bo Jackson had a whip/cannon for an arm with throwing precision, quickness/speed coupled with evasive running, depth perception in the outfield, an amazing vertical jump and as strong as a bull. The Greatest Overall Athlete of All Time

An outstanding athlete, but many forget that Bo was an incredible human being too.

@mlbelites_ And an outstanding human being!

While the younger generation will never know the impact Bo had on both sports he played, this fan has made it a point to remember.

@mlbelites_ @dwightjaynes From all three OF spots. Young ones don’t know what Bo Knows!
@mlbelites_ It was also fun to say his name like Keith Jackson did: "BOOOOOOOOOO Jackson".
@mlbelites_ Still love seeing Reynolds spike his helmet. The White Sox throw, that's not human.
@mlbelites_ Bo really was something to watch on the field and is one of the best defensive players in the game of baseball. He could just throw those lasers.
@mlbelites_ Baseball Bo, Football Bo - incredible.
@mlbelites_ How are you just running across the wall just for the sake of ab-libing (not a word) after you made a deep catch😫
@mlbelites_ I'll watch Bo Jackson throw out Harold Reynolds (who could FLY!) at the plate for as long as I live and I'll never stop marveling at it. I still don't see how that's possible.

What was the "Bo Knows" campaign all about

Jackson became a household name for his athleticism in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Endorsed by Nike at the time, he was involved in a popular campaign called "Bo Knows." The campaign envisioned Jackson attempting to take up a litany of other sports, including tennis, golf, luge, auto racing, and ice hockey.

Few commercials ever topped the iconic "Bo Knows" Nike ad.

Being the first athlete then to play professional baseball and football in the same year, Bo was a great spokesperson for Nike shoes catering to athletes engaged in multiple sports.
