MLB The Show 24: A closer look at the JRF Charity Pack honoring icon Jackie Robinson
Jackie Robinson Day is an important day in the league, and within MLB The Show 24, it is no different. The game regularly celebrates the man who broke the color barrier and changed the game forever.
This year, fans can support the Jackie Robinson Foundation by purchasing the JRF Charity Pack in the shop. The pack contains three Robinson-themed bat skins, a bat grip, Stance socks, two Universal Profile Icons, and 5,000 Stubs.
The pack will be available from Apr. 15 to Apr. 29 and will cost players $4.99. The game's developer, Sony San Diego, will donate 100% of the proceeds to Robinson's foundation. The pack can be purchased from any platform, including PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
Looking at MLB The Show 24's Jackie Robinson Program
Programs are a big part of MLB The Show 24. They are often time-consuming, allowing players to unlock cards, stubs, and other various things to use in Diamond Dynasty.
However, players will not have to grind out the Jackie Robinson Program like they would others. This program is meant to be easy to complete, allowing everyone to celebrate Jackie Robinson Day.
The program features Buck O'Neil, Hilton Smith, Hank Thompson, and of course, Jackie Robinson. Players will need 50 stars to complete the program, and while it may seem like a lot, it is not.
To complete the program, payers must complete the Robinson moment, accrue 4,200 Parallel XP, and complete the Conquest Map. There are also additional ways of completing the program like Multiplayer Missions or collecting seven negro League players.
Completing the program unlocks a 93 OVR Robinson, who has solid power numbers at the dish. He also has 90-speed, making him a threat on the basepaths of your Diamond Dynasty squad.
