Nathaniel Lowe hails Bruce Bochy's success as Rangers manager prepares for his 5th trip to the World Series
The Texas Rangers defeated the Houston Astros in Game 7 of the ALCS to secure their spot in the World Series. Corey Seager, Adolis Garcia, and Nate Lowe all hit home runs to highlight the 11-4 thrashing. It's the Rangers' first World Series appearance since 2011.

Bochy led the San Francisco Giants to the World Series three times and the San Diego Padres once, when they lost to the New York Yankees. In 2010, 2012, and 2014, the Giants won the championship. With 2,101 career victories, he is one of the best managers in baseball history and will undoubtedly enter the Hall of Fame whenever he hangs up his cleats. In his career, he has spent 26 years in the dugout.
Bochy is the manager with the most victories in winner-take-all playoff games with six, and he hasn't yet lost one.
