New York Yankees debutant Jasson Dominguez excited to take the field with MLB elites
Jasson Dominguez's dream has finally come true. He used to watch New York Yankees stars like Anthony Rizzo, Josh Donaldson, and Aaron Judge on television five years ago. However, he shared a clubhouse with them during this year's spring training, wore the same Yankees uniform, and participated in their games.
“Well, for me, the best part was being there, being able to see those guys,” Dominguez said via Yahoo News. “I never thought before that I would be in the same clubhouse with Judge or Rizzo or Donaldson, I mean that’s the best part about it.”
Dominguez, who is only 20 years old, is the top prospect in New York and the youngest player among the top 10. The outfielder had a scorching spring offensively despite his age, slashing .455/.520/1.045 in 22 at-bats across 11 games with four home runs and nine RBIs.

Even with these staggering figures, Jasson Dominguez believes he still has a lot to learn before permanently breaking into the majors.
“What I learned from the big leagues is that I have a lot to learn, that I got to keep developing…” he said. “I got a long way to go.”
Dominguez also thinks that he has made a good impression on the team.
Jasson Dominguez played in Double-A last season
Jasson Dominguez participated in five regular-season games after being promoted from High-A to Double-A towards the end of the previous campaign. He struggled in the five games, going 2-for-19 (.105 batting average), with a home run and a triple.
The 20-year-old, though, broke out with three home runs and 10 RBI while slashing during the postseason. The Somerset Patriots won the Northeast Division Eastern League as he posted a .450/.560/.950 line.
