New York Yankees vs. Seattle Mariners Game Player Stats and Box Scores for September 17

The New York Yankees are facing the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park on Tuesday as they open a three-game series. The Mariners are fighting for a playoff spot, while the Yanks are trying to clinch the AL East Division title.

Bryan Woo is starting for the Mariners, but the Bronx Bombers got the better of Woo as they recorded two runs in the first inning. Aaron Judge continued his hot-hitting streak with a two-run double in the first. Judge drove in Gleyber Torres and Juan Soto to give the Yanks a 2-0 lead.

Luis Gil took the mound for the Yanks and hit Victor Robles with his first pitch. In the last nine games, Robles has been hit by a pitch six times. Gil was a bit shaky at the start but did well to escape a bases-loaded situation.

Juan Soto took a walk at the top of the second inning, and in no time, the Yanks had the bases loaded for Aaron Judge. The captain recorded another base hit and drove in two runs as the Yanks took an early 4-0 lead.

The Mariners responded at the bottom of the second inning with Jorge Polanco's solo home run. However, the Yanks continued to score more runs to secure a 6-1 lead.
