Nick Castellanos' wife Jessica delivers 2-word caption for stunning couple moment with Phillies star
Nick Castellanos and his wife Jessica spent an evening together recently. It is the MLB offseason, which means there aren't games every day, so Castellanos and his family can spend more time together. They did that over the weekend, and the player's wife shared a look at their evening on her Instagram story.
The story has since expired, but it showcased Jessica in a dark dress, while her husband was adorned in a light blazer with a white undershirt and dark pants.
She captioned it:
"My handsome."
The Philadelphia Phillies star has been married to Jessica since 2021. Formerly Jessica Gomez, the two joined together in February of that year. Castellanos was previously married to Vanessa Hernandez. He and Jessica have one son together, while Nick has another child, Liam, from his previous relationship.
Nick Castellanos' wife Jessica reveals bombshell on player's representation
Before Juan Soto signed with their rival, the New York Mets, the Philadelphia Phillies were considered among the teams who would pursue the right fielder. They ultimately didn't make an offer, but they were predicted to before the bidding war unfolded between the Mets, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox and LA Dodgers.
A major reason Phillies fans had hope was that a plethora of their stars were represented by Scott Boras, Soto's agent. When a fan account listed all of them, including Nick Castellanos, his wife broke the huge news that the outfielder was not represented by the super-agent anymore.
Boras had helped Castellanos land a five-year, $100 million deal with the Phillies before the 2022 season. Seemingly since he's no longer in need of a new contract, he has apparently parted ways with Boras.
The prominent agent has been behind several of baseball's most notorious contracts, including two this year. Blake Snell's $182 million deal with the Dodgers and Soto's $765 million contract were negotiated by Boras.
Recently, Matt Chapman and Cody Bellinger landed their deals thanks to the agent. In the past, he's helped Alex Rodriguez and Bryce Harper. On the Phillies, he worked with Taijuan Walker, Bryson Stott, Alec Bohm and others.
