Alex Rodriguez surprises daughter Natasha with warm welcome as she comes home ahead of Christmas

Former MLB star Alex Rodriguez welcomed his daughter back from college with a surprise. Natasha Rodriguez returned home for Christmas, but she was not aware that her father had arranged a special reception for her.

On Thursday, Rodriguez shared a video of him hiding while he waited for Natasha. His younger daughter Ella Rodriguez filmed the proceedings.

Rodriguez wrote in the caption:

"Nothing makes me happier than having both my girls home for the holidays. Great filming by Ella 💕"

Natasha is reportedly studying musical theater at the University of Michigan.

She turned 20 on Nov. 18, and Alex used his Instagram account to post a video:

Alex Rodriguez pays tribute to family on Thanksgiving

Alex Rodriguez shared a Thanksgiving post on his IG handle on Dec. 2. The post included several photos of Rodriguez spending quality time with his friends and family. His girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro, can also be seen in the pictures.

Rodriguez played for multiple teams, including the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and New York Yankees in 22 years in the MLB. He played 2,784 games, with a batting average of .295, an on-base percentage of .380, and a slugging percentage of .550.

Rodriguez is a 14-time All-Star, winning three American League (AL) Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards, 10 Silver Slugger Awards, and two Gold Glove Awards. He also won the World Series with the Yankees in 2009.
