Orioles' Gunnar Henderson steals the show with cowboy attire ahead of his All-Star Game debut

Baltimore Orioles ace shortstop Gunnar Henderson has been a man on a mission this season. The AL Rookie of the Year last season has turned up the heat further with his at-bats and plate discipline in the current campaign.

His excellent performances so far this season haven't gone unnoticed, as the 23-year-old has earned his maiden All-Star nod and will represent the AL team in the Midsummer Classic. But before that happens, the Orioles have started a three-game series against the NY Yankees at home on Friday night.

Gunnar Henderson showcased his All-Star cowboy fit as he pulled up to Oriole Park in Camden Yard for Game 1 against the Yankees. Take a look at Henderson's outfit here:

Gunnar has been the leading man for Baltimore so far this season, as he leads all the major offensive stats for the Birds. He is on his way to produce his best season yet in the MLB. Gunnar Henderson was selected as the 42nd overall pick in the second round by the O's in the 2019 MLB draft.

He spent 2021 and the first half of the 2022 season in the minor leagues, earning promotions with every great at-bat. The Orioles finally selected his contract on August 31, 2022, and since then, the brute lefty slugger hasn't looked back.

His continued excellence at the plate was one of the major reasons for Baltimore winning the AL East division last season, which has continued in the current season as well. Besides winning the AL Rookie of the Year award, Henderson also won the Silver Slugger award last year.
