Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne drops "LETS FREAKING GEAUX" after Olympic gold medalist commits to LSU Tigers
Pittsburgh Pirates rookie Paul Skenes' gymnast girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, welcomed Hezly Rivera to LSU after the 16-year-old committed to the Lady Tigers. Rivera was part of the USA gymnastics team that won gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
LSU won the latest NCAA Women's Gymnastic title on 21 April, 2024, when Olivia Dunne was a senior. One of the most formiddable collegiate teams in the country, the Tigers are only going to be stronger as one of the most talented gymnasts in Rivera joins their ranks.
On Thursday, Rivera posted on Instagram about her decision to commit to LSU, which several gymnasts, including Olivia, commented on, celebrating and welcoming Rivera to her new home.
"LETS FREAKING GEAUX 💜💛" Olivia commented on Rivera's post.
Dunne also shared the post to her story, along with a snap of the pair together, welcoming her new teammate.
The phrase ussed by Dunne in often used in Louisiana instead of the more common "Let's go", to show Cajun Heritage, especially at sporting events. It originates from the commonly found -eaux, at the end of traditional French-Cajun names.

Set to graduate in the spring, Olivia Dunne confirmed her decision to stay and continue competing at LSU for a fifth year in July. Little did she know, that decision would lead to a reunion with Hezly Rivera, as the two are now set to be teammates for the 2025 season.
On Thursday, Olivia shared a post to her story, which included a photo of Dunne and Rivera together in their childhood days, along with a more recent photo that was taken when she visited LSU.
An Olympic champion at only sixteen years of age, Rivera's addition to an already strong LSU gymnastics team gives the the Lady Tigers a huge chance of retaining the NCAA title they won back in April.
