Olivia Dunne reacts to elusive Paul Skenes card discovery

The baseball collector's world was set ablaze with the discovery of the highly coveted Topps Paul Skenes rookie card.

The quest for the card had been ongoing for months as the Pirates offered a bounty to the lucky individual who found it. On Tuesday, CBS Pittsburgh reported that an 11-year-old fan from California found the one-of-a-kind collectible, ending the speculation regarding the card’s location.

The Pirates publicly offered the fortunate fan 30 years’ worth of season tickets in exchange for the card. While it’s unclear if the fan will take the deal, Olivia Dunne had an offer of her own.

In the caption, Dunne wrote:

“OMG someone found it!... My offer still stands.”

In November, Dunne tweeted:

"Let's raise the stakes...the person who finds the card can sit with me at a Pirates game in my suite."

So now, this lucky fan has two very tantalizing offers on the table.

Perhaps the young man might hold on to the card and sell it at auction. According to estimates, the Skenes card is worth $1.5 million. Ultimately, it will be the family’s decision about what to do with the card.
