Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne gracefully reacts to criticisms about gymnastics

Paul Skenes' girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, has amassed a huge fanbase across various social media platforms. She regularly posts moments from her daily life, behind-the-scenes snippets from her various photoshoots, ad campaigns and training with the LSU Tigers gymnastics team.

In her latest TikTok post, she clapped back at the critics who, with little knowledge, tend to criticize her sport of interest. The various threads in Dunne's social media post were captioned as:

"When someone jokes about gymnastics but they've never been made fun of for being 'too muscular'."
"When someone jokes about gymnastics but they've never had to get over a mental block."
"When someone jokes about gymnastics but they've never gotten a beam bite."
"When someone jokes about gymnastics but never had to be homeschooled to train 8 hours a day growing up."
"When someone jokes about gymnastics but they didn't have to watch their body change from a girl to a woman while in a leotard everyday."
"When someone jokes about gymnastics but they've never had a coach sit on their shoulders while doing oversplits."
"When someone jokes about gymnastics but they've never had to go to the Karolyi Ranch."

Dunne returned to Baton Rouge for a fifth year in July after winning her maiden NCAA title in April.

Her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, played college baseball with the Tigers in 2022 and 2023. He led LSU to the College World Series last year and won MVP.

Skenes made his MLB debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates in May and looked like an unstoppable force as he kept racking up wins. He finished the season with an 11-3 record, 1.96 ERA, 170 strikeouts and 0.95 WHIP. He even started the Midsummer Classic for the NL All-Stars and won the NL ROY award in 2024.
