Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne says she got everything she ever wanted from relationship with Pirates rookie
Pittsburgh Pirates rookie Paul Skenes and his girlfriend Olivia Dunne are one of the most popular couples in MLB, often garnering comparisons to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce of the NFL. The couple met through mutual friends in LSU and have been inseparable since then.
Olivia Dunne took to social media on Sunday to let the world know that being in a relationship with the Pirates' rising star is nothing less than a dream come true.
In a TikTok video, she responded to a question about whether she had gotten everything she wanted. She scratched out the already typed answer 'No, but once I got very close' and wrote 'Yes, actually' followed by a cozy image of her and Skenes in a loving embrace.
"My little guy," Olivia Dunne captioned the post.
Dunne, a social media sensation, is often seen attending her boyfriend's baseball games in Pirates gear despite her busy schedule. The two often sneak out for date nights during their off days. The couple also shares a dog named Roux, who often travels with Dunne to meet her MLB star dad.
Dunne previously said that what makes her connection with the 22-year-old pitcher special is that they have been through similar experiences as they both have a sports background.
"He understands all the feelings so I just wanted to call him [Paul Skenes] and just tell him what it was like," Dunne was quoted as saying by PEOPLE Magazine after winning the NCAA gymnastics championship.
Olivia Dunne disapproved of Pirates' performance against Cubs despite Paul Skenes' stellar outing
The Pirates lost to the Cubs despite Paul Skenes delivering a fabulous five-inning game with six strikeouts. This pushed gymnast Olivia Dunne to share her dissatisfaction with her social media family.
She took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and posted a meme that read 'You gotta be kidding me' with her boyfriend's face on it to sum up her disappointment.
Despite Skenes' strong outing, the Pirates lost 14-10, as Chicago scored 11 runs in the last three innings. Skenes, who got a no-decision, remains 8-2 on the season with a 2.23 ERA and 136 strikeouts.
