Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne reveals the non-social media app she is hooked on thanks to boyfriend's MLB career
Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne has recently been sharing glimpses of her training and preparations at her alma mater, LSU, as she gears up for her fifth and final eligible collegiate season.
In a recent Instagram video by LSU gymnastics, Dunne and her fellow gymnasts revealed their most used non-social media application. While others answered the more typical apps like Spotify, Maps and Pinterest, Olivia shared that hers was the MLB application.
The answer, peculiar as it might be to some, is not surprising for those who have followed Olivia Dunne. After all, she has been front and center when it comes to supporting her boyfriend Paul Skenes throughout his baseball career.
Now that Skenes is making his mark in the pros, it's only natural for Dunne to seek updates on his progress in the big leagues.
Olivia Dunne tries her hand at baseball
As the saying goes, "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne put this to the test during the New York City Fanatics Fest. Dressed as her boyfriend, complete with a beard, the young gymnast attempted to pitch but added her own twist to the act.
The gymnast-turned-celebrity delivered a soft pitch and then performed a routine that included a cartwheel and backflip, ending with a salute in the end. This drew cheers and reactions from the audience.
In the same event organized by Fanatics, Dunne was given a custom championship belt in purple sponsored by the WWE. This was a nod to the gymnast's contributions to the NCAA-title-winning gymnastics team of LSU last season.
The title was the first one for the LSU women's gymnastics program. Dunne played a crucial role leading up to the finals, showcasing her talent to help her collegiate team reach the championship.
As it can be recalled, Paul Skenes also brought home the NCAA title for the LSU baseball squad. He was the centerpiece of the Tiger lineup and his sensational performances led him to be awarded the Dick Howser Trophy in 2023.
