Paul Skenes delivered a stellar season as the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher was the NL Rookie of the Year. While waiting for the 2025 season, Skenes has been enjoying quality downtime with his girlfriend, Olivia Dunne.
Dunne, an LSU gymnast with a massive social media following of 5.4 million, shared some of her personal moments with him on Wednesday from their New Year's Eve celebration.
One of the photos was from Bourbon Street in New Orleans, hours before a deadly terrorist attack in the early hours of Wednesday.
In the first photo, Olivia Dunne shared a selfie in which she can be seen making a playful expression by sticking out her tongue. She wore a black top with her blonde hair styled in soft waves. The background appears to be indoors, with a celebration emoji visible in the top-right corner.
Another photo featured Dunne with her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, who matched her look by wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. The couple was on a double date with another pair, which included Pittsburgh Pirates' top prospect Bubba Chandler and his partner, Allie Enright.
Chandler wore a light brown jacket over a blue shirt, paired with jeans making a playful expression by sticking out his tongue. Meanwhile, Enright looks smiled brightly in a black outfit.

On Tuesday, just before the year ended, Paul Skenes’s girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, shared a four-word reaction to her 2024 journey. Dunne was part of the LSU Tigers gymnastics team that won the program's first NCAA title in April.
She shared a photo of the team’s victory celebration on her Instagram story with the caption:
"2024... you were sick."
In the photo, the gymnastics team is seen smiling and enjoying the moment. Olivia Dunne is now set to star in her fifth and final year with the team, aiming to achieve similar success in 2025.
